November Theme:
Immunity boosting
At this time of the year it is even more important to look after our health.

The breath and the lymphatic system are key components to a strong immune system.

This month we will focus on Pranayama to increase lung capacity, strengthen the diaphram and Yoga Asanas that help with a healthy lymph flow.
Flow Motion
My signature class inspired by vinyasa where we are able to connect the breath to movement and so create a fluid flow practice.
I may add free movement parts within the class so everybody can find the freedom to intuitively
connect to their body.
Slow Motion
A take on hatha where we can use a slower practice with longer holds of postures to work on strength in the body and focus in the mind.
We work on foundations and alignment of postures with the
breath as our tool to stay present in the moment cultivating that inner peace.
Flow n Slow
A blend of two styles of yoga into one practice. Bringing together the benefits of passive, more restorative yin yoga poses combined with active, more dynamic yang sequences.
Using both we are able to create a balance and the feel of stillness in movement and the flow in stillness..
Free Flow
As a teacher I want my students to be able to FEEL their body. Letting go of those boundaries of what we think we should look like in a pose and inviting in the mindfulness of what a movement feels like. With free movement
exercises we can let the body move how it wants to move and so cultivate a sense of freedom in the mind.
Stepping away from right or wrong or how I should and shouldn't move and just celebrating the unique YOU in the moment..By moving freely around the mat we are able to feel a deeper sense of connection to self, feeling more
liberated and free from blockages or restrictions in body and mind.
Hello.
A (little) bit about me and Flow Motion
I have always been a free spirit having spent the last decade travelling around the world, working many jobs to experience first hand different people, places and cultures and broaden my horizons. All of this in an attempt to find my home, somewhere, but ultimately my happy place.

Throughout this journey, no matter who I was with or where I was (and there were some amazing places), I always felt disconnected, and somewhat lost within myself. I had no real idea how to take care of my body or mind and so developed an unhealthy relationship with both.

In 2018, whilst living in New Zealand, I became truly overwhelmed with some life challenges thrown my way, causing me to shut down, mentally, emotionally and finally physically. Overnight I lost movement in my left shoulder and arm and stuck in unbearable pain. No doctor could diagnose my problem, so therefore no treatment and I felt helpless.

I underwent physiotherapy to improve my physical health, and took this opportunity to also improve my mental health and started seeing a therapist. It was her who suggested yoga to me, saying it may help me both physically and mentally. And that may be the best advice I’ll ever be given.

This is when I discovered mind, body and spirit connection.

That day changed my life. I went home and popped my first Youtube class on and I was hooked. Yoga became my happy place and part of my daily routine. Pranayama, Meditation and Asana practices have all helped me grow, heal and connect to myself on a deeper level of self-love and understanding. I have now found a way to stay connected to myself. I now see my body as my home, much like a turtle 😉,a place I can always come back to whenever I feel lost in the ebb and flow through life.

I caught my passion and love for teaching yoga on my spiritual journey that began soon after, getting my RYS certification in the stunning magical lake of Atitlan in Guatemala. This experience has totally changed my perspective and I've been following the flow to share the knowledge and medicine of yoga ever since.

I started teaching full time in Costa Rica after my training and my path then took me to the amazing Healthy Options in the beautiful cove of Vassaliki, Greece, where I have spent the summer of 2022. Being part of the Healthy Options team has given me the opportunity to work with so many different people on a daily basis, an absolute gift as a teacher, to further hone my skills and knowledge to the next level.

I have met many so many wonderful people there, and on my yoga journey to date, and am super excited to keep those connections alive, something I hope will be of benefit to all. Flow Motion is my yoga offering to you, encompassing practices and learning that I have felt both so nurturing and freeing. If I can bring just a small piece of that into your lives back home, I have no doubt you will feel and see the benefits.

My goal as a teacher is to help everyone connect better with their body and soul, on a deeper energetic level, pass on the practice of mindfulness, leaving you feeling at home within, liberated and even empowered.

So even though my yoga journey and nomadic lifestyle continues, with the power of zoom there will be weekly classes with a varied schedule of virtual classes and 121 slots meaning you can get your flow on.

I do hope you will join me.
